I perchused these for £198 thinking they were the real deal but when i saw that they were from china i soon thought there could be a possibilty of them being fakes.

I then compared the clubs with various pictures online and thought there were a few different things on the club from: the face of the club, this is coloured in black when it should be white. Also the grip was a touch different.

Hi
There are a lot of fake clubs for sale on e-bay and it is very difficult to tell which is genuine, you have to look for very small detail differences and some major ones to know if the clubs are genuine.
A few months ago I purchased some Callaway fusion Irons.( full retail price is over £1000) The heads on the genuine clubs are made up of a mixture of exotic alloys including the face of the club being titanium, hence the high price, The major difference is that the fake clubs are made of Read More...

Bought a set of three callaway x-tour chrome wedges and gave them away in a tournament. One of the guys who won one was a lefty so I took it to Deboer’s golf shop to exchange it for a left handed one. When we looked at it they said they wouldn’t exchange becaused it was a fake and four of us looked at it in detail and here are the findings.

1. Clubs came with heads and grips shrinkwrapped.
2. Grip was very spongy feeling and ink on lettering was sloppy.
3. Grip on backwards.
